Neurological Consultation and Care

Dr. Greeley performs all the initial neurology consultations and new patient evaluations. Patients may be seen without a referral, but it is best to get a referral to help with the collection of old records and other information from previous evaluations. DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) Evaluation and Management

In 1995 when DBS was in its infancy in the United States, neurologist Dr. David Greeley already had a large percentage of patients with Parkinson's disease, tremor, and dystonia who were interested in the procedure. He contacted Spokane neurosurgeon Dr. Jeff Hirschauer, who had stereotactic training and interest in the procedure. Dr. Hirschauer went on to perform the first DBS surgery in Spokane in 1997, assisted by Dr. Greeley in the operating room. Jamie Mark, ARNP joined the team in 2000, and collectively, they have completed over 350 surgeries for patients with tremor and Parkinson's disease. In July of 2009 Dr Jonathan Carlson joined our collaboration focusing on DBS implantation.  This center of excellence in Spokane is one of the oldest, largest and most successful programs for DBS in the United States. • VENG (Video Infra-Red Electronystagmography): Inner Ear/Balance Evaluation.

Botox Injections

When Dr. Greeley came to Spokane in 1993, no one was providing Botox injections in Washington except West of the Cascades. For this reason, he has developed a large practice, and presently does injections for cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, writer's cramp, spasticity, headache, hyperhydrosis and cosmetics (reduction of wrinkles).
